Born in the Dominican Republic and holding Spanish nationality, Manuel Sanguino is a classical pianist whose artistry has carried him from the Danilo Pérez Foundation and the Panama Jazz Festival to the stages of the Concertgebouw, TivoliVredenburg and the Mozarteum.
He has performed as soloist with the Dutch Chamber Orchestra, The Hague Philharmonic, Sinfonia Rotterdam and the Morphing Chamber Orchestra, and in 2024 played live for the Dutch royal family during the King's Day celebration in Emmen — broadcast nationally on television and radio.
Alongside his performing career, Sanguino is actively engaged in music education and artistic research — focusing on listening, timbre, and the use of extended piano techniques in pedagogical contexts.
